  <title>obama won</title>
  <link>http://a-caggiano.livejournal.com/4747.html</link>
<description>well Obama is going to be our president, and i&apos;m so stoked about that. i can&apos;t deal with another four years of a republican in office. i really think Obama can get our country out of this bad situation and bring people together. i have to say though, i&apos;m really disappointed that all people are talking about is race, and that goes for both black and white people. after Obama won, i couldn&apos;t even watch the news because it was nauseating. not one person said anything along the lines of, how happy they were because he&apos;s going to do our country good or how they are happy that we now have a democrat for a change. all people fucking spoke of was how we made history, how we finally have a black man as president. all the people the fucking interviewed last night were black! it was so annoying, i can&apos;t even tell you how many times someone mentioned martin luther king&apos;s name. who gives a fuck what skin color he is? why can&apos;t we be happy that we have someone who is good for the job, who has potential to get our country out of this mess? everyone is making it about race. i hate it, i hate it, i hate it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;anyway, i have to give props to McCain. he really conceded with class. i actually felt sorry for him. i&apos;m happy though, i&apos;m looking forward to the next four years. peace out.</description>
